I thought this to be the perfect picture to usher in a new chapter for my blog. The changing of the seasons, skillfully depicted here. Seasons do indeed change. When I first started this blog, my main focus was Law & Order:Criminal Intent...especially since I began it while embroiled in the midst of huge changes to the show. A quick perusal of my archives tells that tale! And while I am still a lover of all things Criminal Intent and I still have an interest (!) in the former cast members and their respective careers, I feel it's time to do a little redesigning of the blog to reflect a wider variety of my interests.
For starters, here's a little bit about the current background photo. It's a shot of The Rock of Cashel, also called Cashel of the Kings and St. Patrick's Rock. It's located in Cashel, South Tipperary, Ireland.
Tipperary is a possible family seat in my ancestry, though we don't know this for sure yet. We're only just beginning to get things together to do our family tree and I'm very interested to see where it all leads! One side of my family is a mix of Irish, Scot-Irish, German, and possibly a link to a Native American tribe as well. The other is possibly English or Scottish and more German.
I have a very strong connection to Ireland and Scotland. The call of the Celts is in my blood. Hang with me for a bit and that will become very apparent!
As for Criminal Intent...oh how I miss it! Thankfully I have five seasons on DVD! I'm working on getting the others. These days, I'm also seriously becoming involved in Criminal Minds. Here's hoping that one lasts a few more seasons! I'm a late bloomer!
So here's to the changing of the seasons and the comfort of the past seasons that have left their indelible mark. Slainte! (Gaelic for "cheers")
